My name is Larry Shields. I grew up in Coleman and went to school. I am still very predjudiced and a longtime Bluecat fan. My mother recently passed away and I am in possession of some very interesting Coleman County history! She had old, old newspaper clippings of when the city began and pics of many old gatherings, buildings and streets. I was wondering if the Coleman Historical may be interested in perserving some of the info? I would like for someone to contact me about the info? Thanks and have a good day!

I am not sure how I received this, but I am very happy!! My great grandparents and their parents played abig role in starting Coleman. The Petty, Stobaugh, Scott familes. I would love to do what ever I can to help. Please let me know what I can do!!!

I live in Grapevine, Tx now but will soon be m,oving to Paradise, Texas in March. After the move I am going to take a week off from work and spend some time in Coleman hopefully with Ralh Terry and go over some information I have and pictures of my past family. Would live to meet with you.

My phone number right now is 817-329-5865.

Sincerely,

Camille Reed
